Guide to Christmas Tree Collars

Call me a newbie, but I'm totally digging Christmas tree collars as an alternative to tree skirts. We purchased our very first tree from Michael's on Black Friday ― the 7ft. Pre-lit Full Willow Pine w/ clear lights. We would've loved to start a tradition & pick out a real tree, but we will be traveling in December and it would be absolutely awful to come home to a dead tree right before Christmas.

Looks pretty realistic for an artificial tree, no? Or maybe I'm just an excellent fluffer ;). The only thing that bothers me the most about fake Christmas trees is the base's legs. Even with a thick skirt over top, you can almost always see the legs poking through. This bothers me juuust a tad.

    You're mistaken if you think a metal Christmas tree collar has to be a galvanised metal tree collar.
    If you want that look but prefer a more rustic vibe, go for it!
