It's almost been 24 hours since the start of Radio City Music Hall's Christmas Spectacular that I saw for the first time, and I still cannot get over how fabulous this experience was. I was raised as a gymnast, my mother grew up as a dancer, and I would always hear her talking about The Rockettes. She had never seen the Christmas Spectacular, so my father treated his three girls to the show last night.
I examined The Rockettes dancing inline and couldn't get over what was going on in front of my eyes. All 36 women the same height, the same weight, and not one out of sync. It was something out of an animated film, you keep waiting for one of them to be off, and next thing you know you haven't even blinked. It was one of the most flawless things I had ever seen. Needless to say, I recommend the show to anybody - especially those who feel as if musicals aren't something they're into. This experience was fantastic and definitely kicked off the start to my very own holiday festivity.
